RMPS Organizes Educational Trip to Balidan Stambh for Class 8 Students
On 17th of Dec , 2024 – In its ongoing efforts to provide holistic education and experiential learning, RMPS organized an educational trip for all sections of Class 8th to the renowned Balidan Stambh, located near Kasim Nagar Chowk, Jammu. The trip aimed to instill patriotism, historical awareness, and respect for the sacrifices of India’s brave soldiers.
A total of 164 students, accompanied by their HOD, teachers and sports coordinator, visited the iconic memorial. The students explored the monument under the guidance of knowledgeable instructors who explained its historical significance, architectural design, and the stories of valor associated with it. The sight of the engraved names of martyrs deeply moved the students, fostering a sense of gratitude and admiration for the nation’s heroes.
The visit was marked by an interactive session where students asked questions and shared their reflections. Teachers emphasized the importance of honoring the sacrifices of soldiers and linked the experience to lessons in history and moral education.
Respected Director Mr. Rakshan Mengi , Passionate Vice Principal Dr. Harvinder kaur , Respected Administrator Mr. Surinder Singh congratulated the students and provided them with a firsthand experience of history, patriotism, and the values of sacrifice and service to the nation. Such trips leave an indelible mark on young minds and inspire them to be responsible citizens.The trip concluded with students sharing their thoughts and experiences, many expressing profound respect for the martyrs. This visit is part of RMPS’s ongoing initiative to promote experiential learning through educational excursions that contribute to the intellectual and emotional growth of students.
