R.M Public School Office Staff Celebrates International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm and Unity

In a vibrant celebration of wellness and mindfulness, the office staff at RM Public School enthusiastically participated in International Yoga Day on June 20, 2024. The event underscored the school’s commitment to promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle among its staff members.

Worthy Chairman Sh. Rameshwar Mengi and Director Sh. Rakshan Mengi graced the program and the celebration began early in the morning with Vice principal, Dr. Harvinder kour and Administrator,Sh. Surinder Singh highlighting the significance of yoga in fostering mental and physical well-being. “Yoga is not just an exercise; it is a way to bring harmony between body and mind. Today, we come together to embrace this ancient practice and integrate its benefits into our daily lives,” remarked the staff.

Under the guidance of a certified yoga instructor, the office staff engaged in a series of yoga sessions that included asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation. The instructor emphasized the importance of each posture and breathing exercise, ensuring that all participants, regardless of their experience level, could follow along and benefit from the session.

The event also featured a brief workshop on the benefits of yoga, where staff members learned about its positive effects on reducing stress, improving concentration, and enhancing overall health. The interactive session allowed participants to ask questions and share their experiences, fostering a sense of community and mutual support.One of the highlights of the celebration was a group meditation session that brought a profound sense of calm and unity among the participants. The serene environment, combined with the collective energy of the group, made for a truly memorable experience.

RM Public School plans to incorporate regular yoga sessions for both staff and students, reinforcing its dedication to holistic education and well-being.
