RM public school celebrated Navratri– a festival honouring femininity in its premises today.
The weeklong celebration which included online discussions and competitions amongst the students, was culminated today by traditional kanya poojan in the premises.
The celebration started with Arti of Devi for ending the pandemic followed by kanya poojan by the Director of the school, Mr. Rakshan Mengi. The Principal Mrs. Shuchita Gupta and incharges of various buildings also took part in Kanya Poojan, while taking into account the Covid SOPs.
Mrs. Shilpa and Mrs. Shivani from Shiksha Niketan Gandhinagar graced the occasion. Also gracing the occasion were Mr. Sachin and Mrs.Sugandha, Mrs.Suman Gupta from Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar. Mrs. Neetu and Mrs. Sakshi from Pushp Vatika Jeevan Nagar also took part in the poojan .
On the occasion the director prayed for an early relief from the pandemic and wished everyone a safe and Happy Navratris.
The program culminated with distribution of prasad to the staff members of the school.
